During our childhood, Our mother used to take us to different men and tell us to ask for money as they are your uncles. They used to give us a lot of money. My sister was very sensible. Most of the times she had a fight with my mother and urged her to stop this but mother never agreed.

Respectable Hakeem Sahib, Aslam-o-Alikum! It’s a long story but I will tell briefly so that people can understand disastrous effects of haram earning. This is the truth that I am writing for the first time. My father was a clerk in an organization, he was very kind and pious man although there was inrush of haram where he used to work but Alhamdulillah he never earned haram money. We belonged to a middle class family, we were very happy; our father provided us everything without any short-fall. But…!! Whenever my father handed over his income to our mother, she said it is difficult to live off with this income. My mother compelled my father to earn haram as others were earning, and told him not to be afraid off it as no one bats an eye on others. As my father was very pious he never touched haram money. At the same time my mother had a friend. She indulged my mother towards bad goings as my mother was a greedy woman, she started following her steps.

Most of the times she had a fight with my mother and urged her to stop this but mother never agreed. Slowly and gradually her illegal income started to annex into my father’s legal income. My father had no idea of home’s situation as he was very simple man. He remained busy day and night in his office. Anyways things kept on going as they were. My mother grew old and as you all know people reform themselves as they grow old but my mother never changed. My father retired and his kidneys failed which resulted in his expensive treatment as pension was the only source of income. It was unbearable for my mother that all the money was used for his treatment. Home condition began to worsen, my mother abused my father day and night but he never complained as he was very humble person. At last he died and that day was the start of our desolation and longsuffering. My father wanted me to become a doctor, I got admitted in a medical college in Lahore and my sister in Islamabad. Now only my mother and youngest sister were left home. I started getting embarrassing messages that keep an eye on your sister, she has started doing the wrong things etc_ _ _. I was very upset as illness of haram started to affect our lives. Gradually our relatives and neighbors isolated us which affected my studies and could not continue my MBBS. Then I came to know that my mother provoked my sister to follow her steps because she wanted money.

My father’s life time respect was on stake, he earned halal throughout his life, then why was this happening to us? , then I realized that this all was due to my mother’s bad goings. She had made many plots and jewelry with her illegal money but none lasted long…. Haram never lasts. Today the only asset we have is our fathers home. Allah shows the result of bad deeds and illegal income. I couldn’t become a doctor and everything was finished. My elder sister’s marriage was delayed due to non-receipt of proposals, finally we had to accept a proposal of a married man to get rid of the prevailing environment at home. I did B.A privately, jobless now a days, I imposed restrictions on my mother but she did not meant her ways. I applied many places for the job but all in vain. People hate us and no one wants to maintain a relationship with us. People not even stand beside me during a prayer. We are suffering from Allah’s curse. Every coming day is worse than the other. Nothing goes well, Problems, Degradation and curse rules our house and lives. After all this is all because of me and is my mistake as I did nothing to get it Right deliberately, In fact I don’t understand what to do! My life is troubled. No one likes us indeed every one curses us and we are suffering from lack of wealth too. I request everyone that if your income is Haram just stop getting it immediately otherwise you will suffer your life as mine. Haram income surely shows its negative effects it even destroys the generations. Haram has turned my Heaven like house in a place of Hell.
